driveblocks, a start-up based in Munich|Werksviertel, develops the Mapless Autonomy Platform for automated and autonomous driving in the commercial vehicle sector. The core technology is a combination of transformer neural networks and geometrically interpretable sensor-fusion to create a next-generation perception software suite. Your Role
Responsible for the full development cycle of one or more software components within the Mapless Autonomy Platform.
Identify software requirements in close contact with customers and technical experts and design appropriate algorithms and solutions.
Implement high-quality embedded software ready for real-time deployment on real vehicles.
Ensure the fulfilment of performance, safety and quality requirements with software and simulation testing as well as deployment under real-world conditions on our development vehicle.
Provide our customers with hands-on support for deployment of our software on their vehicles – including on-site testing and application engineering.
Your Background
Degree in computer science, informatics, engineering or related (Bachelor, Master, or PhD).
Strong technical foundation and yearlong experience in at least one of the following fields: Deep learning, data-driven algorithms, probabilistic sensor-fusion, safety requirements and engineering.
Experience in driver assistance systems and / or autonomous driving.
Experience with modern C++ and embedded software engineering for real-time applications.
Experience with modern software engineering tools, including version control, continuous integration and testing as well as cloud-based development processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with complex technical challenges and requirements.
Willingness to deep-dive into new challenges and make our product a true next-generation software platform for automotive applications.
Strong team-player and the ability to communicate complex technology in a clear and straight-forward way to match customer and project expectations.
